Since its release in June 2021, TAD has attracted a surge of interest from the worldwide research community. Two years later, we release the version 2 of TAD, which has been upgraded in the following aspects.
l Multi-omics
o Genome assemblies and annotations of 59 available Asteraceae species.
o Analysis results from re-sequencing, RNA-seq, sRNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, BS-seq, and metabolome are available.
l Germplasm
o 7276 germplasm records from 37 species of Asteraceae
l Taxonomy
o The latest classification system of Asteraceae (Mandel et al., 2019, PNAS; Susanna et al., 2020, TAXON), contain 16 subfamilies, 50 tribes, and 1634 genera.
o Collections of each taxon including 8 external links for introduction, taxonomy, herbarium, images and geographic distribution, etc.
l Tools
o Ten analysis tools, including Blast, JBrowse, Gene Retrieval, Gene Annotation, Transcriptional Factor, Gene Orthologs, Synteny Viewer, PlantiSMASH, Primer Design, and Literature.
